I’m providing this review to let others know the fantastic services available from Beck Furniture & Antiques (BF&A).
Earlier this year a sudden need arose to move my mother-in-law from Indianapolis to Colorado.  This move required us to pack those things most necessary and precious to her to take with us to Colorado and leave the vast majority of the property in the house including furniture, many pieces of art work and antiquities, household goods, and tools and garage items.  We solicited assistance from area auctioneers that claimed to provide estate sale services, but we soon discovered they were only interested in picking in choosing just select pieces, leaving the majority of the property to our burden to dispose of.
Luckily, we found BF&A and scheduled a consolation.  John Beck, the owner, came to the house himself and devoted all the time necessary to explain his services and assess “ALL” the property in the house...not just select pieces. John provided us a clear estimate of what we could expect from the auction and the fees charged.  John and his employees were very structured and diligent in their organization and cataloging of every piece of property, no matter how small or valuable. John provided a detailed inventory that help assure my mother-in-law that everything was accounted for. The subsequent online auction of the several hundred lots drew thousands of bidders and tens of thousands of dollars in bids.  John was very prompt in distributing the money gained in the auction and took great care to leave the house without any remaining trash or debris. This was very important as we were already out of town and the house was going up for immediate sale.  John went out of his way to coordinate everything with our realtor so the transition from the estate sale to real estate listing went without a hitch.  The realtor from Century 21 was so impressed she planned to refer future clients in similar situations to BF&A.
I can’t overstate what an extraordinarily great service BF&A provides.  If you’re ever in the need for a “full service” estate sale that is professional and timely in everything it does then John Beck and BF&A are the ones to call.
